About Me

As an internationally operating consultant, I have advised companies from various industries concerning questions within the field of organic search for roughly a decade. These include e-commerce companies and publishers, but also marketplaces and lead-gen organizations. As a specialist for search strategies and technical SEO, I help companies overcome the challenges of the dynamic, ever-changing field of Organic Search. Websites often fail to realize their potential in Organic Search due to strategic or infrastructural reasons. Therefore, measures should be taken to help Google better-process the domain and make it more user-friendly.

From 2014 to 2020, I was Head of SEO at Peak Ace AG and responsible for the SEO consulting business unit. Over the years, I built up and managed a team of ~25 consultants and editors that consulted clients from all over the world.  During this time, Peak Ace AG won in the “Best SEO Campaign” category at both the 2016 and 2018 European Search Awards and picked up the award for “Best use of Data” at the 2018 Drum Search Awards. In 2020, Peak Ace AG was nominated again in various categories such as “Best SEO Campaign,” “Best Use Of Search – B2C (SEO),” and “Best Use Of Search – Retail / Ecommerce (SEO).” Peak Ace AG also dominated the Global Digital Excellence Awards with 15 nominations  including “Global SEO Campaign of the Year – B2C,” and “Global Best Use of Data,” and ultimately took home 8 trophies including “Global SEO Agency of the Year – Large.”

Since 2020, I’ve been a speaker at the afs academy which offers qualitative education and training in the field of SEO. The goal of the academy is to provide real SEO knowledge from both its practice and scientific basis. In 2021 I also work as a lecturer at the FH Salzburg. I regularly speak at meetups and conferences and give expert workshops or webinars. My main focus is on topics such as crawling, indexing, rendering, targeting, internal linking, link building, or one of your desired topics. I’ve presented on stage at conferences like SMX Munich, eMetrics Berlin, London Affiliate Conference, SEOkomm Academy, SEOday, and Search Conference as a speaker or workshop leader. I’d also be happy to speak at your conference on an exciting SEO topic, but, you can meet me regularly at conferences as a visitor too. Feel free to contact me either way.

Since September 2015, I’ve been a Majestic brand ambassador for Germany. My responsibilities include advising Majestic on its marketing activities for the German-speaking market. Furthermore, I belong to a think tank together with other ambassadors to tackle issues such as product improvement and further development. Majestic is based in Aston Birmingham and is one of the most internationally renowned companies in the field of link data and one of the most important data providers worldwide. In 2017, the company was awarded the Princess Royal Award and the Queen’s Award. I’ve written a large number of professional articles for Majestic, and have also appeared as a speaker at conferences such as eMetrics in Berlin (topic: “Data-driven SEO in practice – what is important, what helps you, what should you look out for and which key figures are relevant?”) and the SMX in Munich (topic: “Majestic API: Case Studies for efficient working in practice”).
